One of the major venues for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Water Cube, has begun to shine.
The venue uses energy-saving bulbs hidden in its bubble-like walls. The completion of the lighting marks the final stage in the Cube's construction. The first test match for the semi-transparent stadium is scheduled for the end of January.
